So he frees the other dragons and flees, believing Astrid will spread the tale of his insanity like wildfire. Whether she does or not is a mystery to him, because he doesn’t stick around to find out.

    Along his travels, he is called a demon, hailed as a savior, known as a friend, and found again as a son. Something will always call him back to Berk though. Danger, probably. It’s an occupational hazard, not just of a Viking.
