Summary
There’s a person crouched in the trees above him.
Shaggy, short white hair drifts in lazy waves against porcelain pale skin, and the red marks that slash across his sharp cheekbones are punctuated by the impossibility of soft, fuzzy white and gray furred ears that adorn the sides of his face. His pupils- framed by white lashes that match his hair- are the same shade as the marks, as Madara’s still active sharingan that he's staring down without hesitation.
He's gorgeous, and Madara is absolutely, undoubtedly in love.
And he is also dripping lake water like a bedraggled house cat while pathetically gaping at the most beautiful person he’s ever seen.
Damn.

Summary
Madara is still standing in the same position, gawping at the now damaged door, when Hashirama rounds the corner, Hokage robes fluttering and bouncing with his easy steps. “Oh, Madara! Good afternoon! I was on my way to lunch, too– ah! You cut your hair!”
The cavalcade of nonsense parades onward. Madara turns to look at his large and boisterous friend with a half-defeated, half-maniacal scowl. “What just happened? Your fickle, rude brother saw me for one second and slammed the door in my face.”

Summary
Madara, like all kids, wonders when he will see from his soulmate's eyes for the first time and simultaneously hopes to never see through them. Personally Madara thinks soulmates are a cruel trick of the universe. Why else would you only get hints of who they are in the worst moments of their lives?
Personally he hopes to never see through his soulmates eyes. He hopes they stay safe forever even if that means he never gets to meet them. Maybe they will see through his eyes, because as a shinobi he’s going to have moments of terror, and they will be able to find him. But if not he just hopes they get to live a long safe, happy life.
Unfortunately that isn’t what happens.
