Summary
Megatron, tyrannical ruler of the Decepticons, was killed in battle with the Autobots long ago. His body left to rust, forgotten and swept away by the ocean’s clutches, never to be recovered or seen again.
Centuries later, the Traveller arrived in Sol, bringing with it a host of threats. The Guardians were born, rising from the ashes of their past lives with their given purpose: to protect, at all costs.
The remaining two members of Fireteam Aberrance, however, were cast into exile by the very city and people they sought to protect. They roam the forsaken lands of the Earth beyond the Last City, grieving for their fallen sister-in-arms and defending the misfit camp of refugees they came to call their people.
When a Ghost discovers and resurrects his Lightbearer nearby, though, they can’t stand by and allow them to be slaughtered — even if the Lightbearer in question just so happens to be a 30-something-foot alien robot that looks like the Devil himself.

Summary
The war is over. Megatron has been sentenced to exile, which he himself knows is far more lenient than he deserves.
Caught in a stray plasma storm after a reckless light speed jump, he crashes on a small organic planet and is knocked into stasis lock due to the impact.
After Primus-knows-how-many years later, his systems spontaneously flicker back to life.
It’s… Earth?
No. Not Earth. But similar. Unnaturally so.
Alone on this unfamiliar world, Megatron decides to make use of a feature he had left untouched up to this point. His holoform.
Little did he know, this small choice may result in him fighting in yet another war.
…but, perhaps, this time he can fight for freedom instead of oppression.
