    Even the smallest decision can change the course of empires. In the days of Jaehaerys I Targaryen’s reign, the question of succession hung over the Seven Kingdoms like an inevitable shadow.     Princess Vaella Targaryen, the second born daughter of King Viserys and Queen Aemma, Dreamed of the future to befall her house in the coming decades when she was but a child.

    With the determination of a true dragon, Vaella sets out to make sure it doesn’t come true, but there is only so much a young girl can do, even if she is a princess, especially when she ends up sent away from the capital to be fostered with the Velaryons for five years.

    Now she’s sixteen, almost a woman grown in the eyes of the law, and returning to King’s Landing for the imminent birth of a new sibling who her father is convinced will be the heir he has been waiting for. Vaella will be damned if she lets the future play out the way she Saw it and she’ll do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals.

    She’s a gods-damned Targaryen, after all.
