Summary
In a world ravaged by chaos and corruption, Uzi, N, V, and their allies struggle against the power of the Absolute Solver—a sinister force capable of turning friends into foes. Uzi, desperate to end the Solver’s reign and save her friends, finds herself hacking into its core to find a weakness. During the process, she encounters what’s left of Cyn’s consciousness, trapped within the Solver’s corrupted mindscape.
Together, Uzi and Cyn form a fragile alliance as Uzi plans a daring move to free Cyn from the Solver’s control. In a dangerous act, Uzi consumes the Solver’s corrupted core to weaken it, leaving her vulnerable to its influence. Despite the uncertainty, Uzi, with the support of N and V, manages to rescue Cyn’s damaged core, giving them a glimmer of hope for a future free from the Solver.
However, as Uzi now carries the remnants of the Solver within herself, the team must grapple with the uncertainty of Cyn’s loyalty and the unknown repercussions of Uzi’s dangerous decision. Trust is shattered, but hope lingers as they seek a way to save the world without losing themselves in the process.

Summary
I wrote this story because not only did I want to but because there was a critical lack of angst SPECIFICALLY involving Davis Motomiya so I took it upon myself to write this. Anyways some Digital world shenanigans occur, Davis gets fucking impaled by a rebar, yes you heard that right, yes you read this right, Ken has the opportunity to end Davis but doesn’t because he just can’t bring himself to do so for some reason he doesn’t quite understand (**cough cough**, Loverboy, **cough cough**), Davis might die but the Kiser/emperor won’t let that happen. Also this might be a slow burn as well but it might not be as well, I haven’t exactly planned that far ahead on this story. Anyways I still suck at summarizing stuff so just read to find out what happens in this angst fic.

This was only a test run of a story so I guess you can say that this is the prologue even though it’s really not a prologue to this story.
You can basically just accept this as a prologue if that’s what you want but idk. This first part was only a test chapter for me to see how I would want the general concept and idea of where I want this story to go. And it turned out great honestly.
