Summary
When Bob Reynolds turned into a human comet, thudding back to earth somewhere in the Utah desert, OXE didn't find him first. His one-time Vault acquaintances did— pulling his unconscious body out of the crater, hauling him into the limo for a getaway, and waking him up in an abandoned gas station to get some answers.
They end up with more questions, a few terrifying realizations, and a new mission: help Bob figure out his newfound powers to stop Valentina before she can recreate the Sentry Project with rejects she scavenged out of the Vault.
Or, the Thunderbolts get to Bob first, and it doesn't make anything easier.

Yelena tries to hide that she's hurt from the others, despite having a concussion and broken ribs. While they all crash at Bucky's house, the others eventually catch on, and everyone does their best to help, despite no one really knowing how.
*Or a bunch of emotionally constipated killers try to help each other, and realize that being together might just be better than being alone.
**Now a larger continuation as they learn how to be a team, and all of them living together in the Watchtower.

Summary
After the events of Thunderbolts* Bucky went to a hole-in-the-wall cafe, one that was not well known and everyone knew not to talk to you. Buck wanted a break from the team and paparazzi so he went to the cafe for some quiet.
There he found a doe-eyed brown haired teen with eyes that seemed too old for his age. A look that reminded Bucky of someone he knows, well many actually. They're all living in the same tower. He doesn't know that this tower is a place this boy has already lived in, been loved in by many who were not alive to love him anymore and those who could never remember. But maybe, just maybe he can join this new dysfunctional family.
