Summary
Seungmin can’t believe he didn’t notice what was happening sooner.
He should’ve realized when he and Minho were called to the elders hut at the same time.
The omega turned his head to glare as Seungmin stumbled inside, and he cocked a puzzled eyebrow back at him in return before getting onto his knees.
The pack Luna cleared her throat. “I’m sure you know the reason for you being called here on this fine morning.”
Seungmin didn’t have a clue.
She gave them a small smile before continuing. “The spirits gave me visions of your union last night. I am pleased they have blessed us with another beautiful match to continue our bloodlines.”
Seungmin felt his body turn rigid. “What?”
The elder frowned at him, and he felt Minho slide his hand over and clutch Seungmin’s wrist in a crushing hold.
“We are thankful to the spirits for watching over us,” the omega murmured gently. “We will strive to make them proud.”

Hyunjin let out a growl of frustration. “Heats can last for days. What if you can’t handle me?”
Minho’s chest rumbled. “I can handle you just fine,” he promised lowly.
Hyunjin shivered at his tone, but barreled on anyways. “I read that the longest heat lasted for ten days. Ten days hyung! That could end up being me. I could want too much from you and you wouldn’t say anything, and then your heart could like, explode from exhaustion and-”
Minho let out a shocked laugh at his boyfriends ramblings. “You think your going to kill me or something?” He asked incredulously. “Baby, your way overthinking this. That’s never going to happen.”
Hyunjin’s chest was heaving and his eyes looked wild. “You don’t know that hyung. We could be the first recorded case of it ever happening.”
Hyunjin thinks that spending his heat with Minho will result in a catastrophe. Minho thinks otherwise.

“So you don’t want to live with me anymore,” Minho said flatly, his eyes narrowing in on Seungmin’s flushed face.
The alpha in turn closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, slowly counting backwards from ten. “We’ve been over this. It’s not about what I want, it’s about what we need.”
Minho looked at him suspiciously. “And according to you, what we need is to be separated. All the time.”
Seungmin thinks they should move into separate dorms. Minho wants to know why.

Minho’s face went strangely blank. “Your body is fine,” he said briskly.
Seungmin eyed him warily. “That definitely sounded believable.”
