It feels like reality slaps her across the face as she stands out there in the cold on the sidewalk outside of the club, listening to the distant pulsing of the music inside and to the insufferable giggling from a person nearby who's on a call with someone that must be her boyfriend.
Do-yi thinks about calling one of her sons, then thinks about calling her driver, then thinks about calling a taxi. Then she realizes that she absolutely cannot be seen like this by anyone. She tears off the wig, stuffs it in her purse, shakes out her hair and pulls her coat on to make herself look somewhat presentable, using her compact mirror to check for any flaws.
Then, feeling like she'd rather die, she texts Se-mi her location and waits.
Or: Do-yi doesn't meet Joo-nam, and leaves the club alone.
