As many others, I presume, I wished for so much more to come out of the night that Robin and Strike spent together, after Robin escaped from Chapman Farm (Chapter 89 in The Running Grave). This is my take on how things might have developed differently, in the days afterwards…

I know, I'm too late at this!
I was busy finishing up another story in September, (not to mention wishing I could have put my real life on hold while tearing through a "little" book called The Running Grave!) and, having read the prompts for Fictober, I couldn't really figure out what to do with them either. But reading some the wonderful Fictober stories out there, I decided to try my hand on them, so I'm joining in during the last half of the month - better late than never, right!?
My contribution only starts at chapter 14, please just scroll down there, as I made a lot of mostly empty chapters to get the numbers right....
AND BEWARE: Spoilers for The Running Grave in most of the chapters!
