    The blondes hand moves fluidly over the trigger, and the barrel shifts into place with a sickening click. The metal is deathly cold where it presses against Nicholas’s forehead, and his breath hitches as he stares down the barrel.

Nicholas would only say no, though, so Vash doesn’t ask. He doesn’t want Nicholas to be any more concerned for him than he already is. All he wants is to sleep.

    Maybe it was stupid of Wylan. An impulsive decision. But he didn’t care. Something snapped in his mind that instant. He grabbed a flash bomb out from his bag and ran past Kaz, faintly hearing the man call out for him. Or was that Jesper’s voice? Wylan didn’t have time to think as the squaller got closer and closer to Inej and he was running out of time. “Get down!” He yelled out, praying to Ghezen that Inej would react fast enough. Wylan threw the bomb in their direction and shut his eyes in hopes the effect wouldn’t be as blinding. It went off with a loud boom immediately knocking everyone off their feet.

    Or, What if Wylan gets captured instead of Inej?
