Daemon thinks he might hate the boy-- a blasphemous thought, had his father ever caught wind of how he treated his own blood the mans ashes may even be shaking in his rage-- and it takes less than an hour in his presence to stop thinking it, and begin knowing it.
He hates the brat; he hates the lamb who had been born with the eyes of his beloved Mother and the face of his Bronze Bitch. He hates the mass of bronze glinting hair he takes pride in, hates the tan he wears with pride from hours spent outside, he hates the Valyrian steel blade he is adorned with and the frill-necked dragon he rides.
He hates that Raymar Royce is everything he had ever wanted in a son, and hated that he had dared to come from the woman he had loathed so very much.
