Morgana was standing in the centre of the room again, trembling with what Arthur recognised was at least eighty percent fury, while Merlin and Gaius hovered about her like a pair of flightless birds. “There that should do it” said Merlin, pleased, as he dabbed the last bit of ointment from a small clay saucer onto Morgana’s now clean forehead. He turned at the sound of footsteps and gave Arthur a long look. He drew in a breath, worry clouding his features “Bloody hell Arthur you look like death warmed over! What the hell happened to your face?”
A story in which Uther goes mad, Merlin, Morgana and Gwen become Knights Errant and Arthur tries to stop the whole world from falling apart around him.
