Carmilla's words didn't just bring back memories. It brought Vaggie back to the moment she felt the most pain in her afterlife. The pain of losing her eye and wings to Lute. It brought back pains she swears she hasn't felt since before her wings miraculously sprouted from her back when Carmilla taught her what they needed to win against Adam and his army. Pain that, had she not had years of getting accustomed to the intensity, would've dragged her onto her knees. Now all Vaggie did was hold herself, hoping to calm the trembling of her body as her eye twitched, wanting to hide the pain she felt as best as she can. unfortunately for her she just happened to be next to the single person in all of hell that helped her with these pains in the past and grew a sixth sense for when Vaggie's back was acting up. It's weird sometimes, almost as if she could feel the pain herself.
