Summary
TEASER: On Diagon Alley, Death Eaters were Levitating piles of books out of Flourish and Blotts and throwing them on a bonfire. Potter’s face was everywhere, staring at Draco from the rows of posters that were plastered onto the fronts of the boarded-up shops. Suddenly Draco was imagining holding Potter in his arms, burying his face in Potter’s neck. He felt a sharp physical pang, like a torn tendon under his collarbone, where his scars began. Where his heart was.
SUMMARY: It's year seven. Voldemort has taken over the Ministry, and the Carrows have taken over Hogwarts. Draco and Potter had a secret relationship in sixth year. But now Potter has disappeared, and Draco has to navigate year seven by playing both sides, half Voldemort's right-hand Death Eater, half spy for the resistance. Will he manage to do something in the war that will finally impress Potter? And what will their relationship look like when Potter finally comes back?
A two-year fic which covers what Draco did during the dystopian year seven, and what happens in year eight when Harry and Draco start to explore what a committed relationship would look like for them.
