Summary
Gentle rays of moonlight have begun streaming in through the windows, and the two of them stand brilliantly illuminated in the centre of the brightest ray—Columbina's laughing at Sandrone's indignance, the moonlight highlighting the soft curve of her face while the other scolds her.
She looks ethereal, every bit the Moon Goddess she is, and Arlecchino can't help the way her heart sharply aches with something like jealousy.

Summary
“Your arrangement is atrocious.”
Sandrone marches down the length of the table, inspecting the layout with an unimpressed sneer on her face. She stops in front of her own seat, the one next to Columbina’s, and points with a frown.
“All those tea parties I invited you to and you can’t even plate your desserts properly. Look at them, all piled together in one sad lump. And don’t even get me started on how you arranged your tea cups.” A hand is waved, mocking and prideful, at the pitiful display. “They don't even line up with the rest of the table. Where’s the symmetry? The perfectly perpendicular angularity? It’s a travesty!”

Summary
Caitlyn takes a deep breath and lets her forehead rest on the wall besides the door. The knob is loose. This is not the time to be thinking about that. She can't imagine the field day her grief counselor would have if she told them. And that's before she considers their fathers and what in gods name the rest of the department would think. Which is all fine and good and not her problem because this cannot be happening. And even if it was for her, she's the one who's lost her mind. Not Vi. Vi has spent so long trying to convince the system she's crazy so she can go into the special penitentiary with her sister that Caitlyn is very certain Vi is sane. And sane people do not develop feelings for people who met like they did. Who have the history they do. She just won't think about what is happening on the other side of the door and everything will be fine.
Takes place in SWW's firefighters AU. Pre-relationship scenes from the firefighters.

Summary
Caitlyn and Vi talk it out (and bang it out) post-act two.
-
“Did it never occur to you that you could’ve been killed?” Caitlyn’s words are dagger-sharp, cold and unforgiving like a chastisement. Vi doesn’t do well with being chastised. She pushes off from the desk, stepping toward Caitlyn.
“Uh, yeah. It occurred to me every day, actually.” Her mouth twists into a scowl. “You know when else it occurred to me? When somebody knocked the wind out of me with their rifle and left me at the bottom of a pit to claw my way out alone. It occurred to me then, funny enough.”
