Summary
Daniel sat at the lunch table with the D&D club. He sat with Jeff, Gareth, Doug and most poignantly, Eddie Munson, who was in the middle of a dramatic reading of a Newsweek article about D&D. Eddie was a senior two times over with big, doe-like brown eyes, long curly, bouncy brown hair, and a patched vest, a huge DIO patch on the back. Daniel twiddled one of his drumsticks between his index and middle fingers as he picked at his food, listening to Eddie talk. “The devil has come to America."
OR:
Life for a trans guy in Hawkins Indiana (middle of nowhere midwest with a TON of angry hicks) of all places was never going to be easy. But because Daniel's life had never been simple since leaving Colorado, Hawkins decided to become an even worse place to live for reasons Daniel only could've dreamt up for a D&D campaign... or a cheezy B-movie romance

There's absolutely no way to know what a person will present as ahead of time, but Mike's never been more certain about something in his life. Will Byers is going to be an Omega--a male Omega--and the second that happens, he'll lose everything. Some knothead Alpha like Troy or James will claim him as their own and no one will be able to stop them. Luckily, the Party has a plan. It might be complicated and unconventional. It might not even be legal, but it's something and that's all Will really needs. Something. And Mike's more than willing to try it if it means saving Will.
But what if Will isn't the one who needs saving?

Summary
After being adopted by one of the richest families in Hawkins—maybe even the richest—Seven Harrington thinks he’s found his forever home. Sorry—Steve Harrington.
On the surface, Steve is everything his parents wanted him to be: charming, privileged, and perfectly put together. But the truth runs deeper. Before he was “Steve,” he was Seven—one of Dr. Brenner’s experiments at Hawkins Lab.
For a while, Hawkins’ golden boy act is enough. But as strange things begin to stir in the town—things that feel all too familiar—Steve realizes the past doesn’t stay buried for long. Secrets leak. Powers slip. And the boy who once thought he’d escaped the Lab may have to choose between protecting his perfect new life or becoming the very weapon he swore he’d never be again.

Steve’s never understood why adults always praise him for being a “people person” as if it’s some great accomplishment.
What, like it’s hard?

Or: Steve Harrington is your average American teenager, he just had to work harder than most to learn how to ignore the emotions bumping into him.
