Summary
Communication has never been Milly Winchester's strong suit, but there are two things she has told her brothers loud and clear at every opportunity: 1) John Winchester is not her dad; 2) John Winchester will kill her if he finds her anywhere close to Sam.
Where did Milly get those ideas? What role did they play in the years of radio silence between Milly and her brothers? And how true ARE they?
In a true nightmare scenario for Milly, John Winchester at long last shows up to get his hands on the colt, right when she has finally agreed to throw caution in the wind and travel along with her brothers for a little while. It is not a good time.

Summary
There was another child in Sam's nursery when the yellow-eyed demon visited. The middle Winchester kid did not come out unscathed. Past catches up to present on the drive back to Stanford as Sammy has some questions for Dean about their childhood and the sister who ran away, but the present can't stop moving.
A barely reunited Sam and Dean have to deal with more than their missing father as their estranged sister re-enters their lives. It turns out exactly none of the Winchesters were quite ready or prepared for that. Communication has never been their strong suit, after all, and Mildred Winchester is no exception. With her arrival, the thoughts left unsaid and questions unasked only stack up. A tower that is doomed to topple and reveal its contents at the least opportune moments. Maybe a spot of family therapy wouldn't have been so bad after all...
Drawing on a number of season 1 episodes, an alternative version of events and its repercussions are explored with an additional Winchester sibling in the mix.
