    Harry had simply meant to withdraw a coin or two for postage.

    “Do we have a deal, Mister Potter?”, the small creature asked, voice lilting from his usual monotone to an uncharacteristic touch of amusement and- and something else unsettling.

    “And this will… I can live with someone else?”, Harry asked, his hands clasped behind him hesitantly edging forward.

    “With my help, yes indeed. For the right price of course.”, It's beady black eyes sparkled.

    ‘No more living with the Dursleys.’, a voice in his mind harrumphed.

    Right.

    Right!

    “It's a deal then.”, the boy nodded, his earlier nervousness washing away with a determined fire in his chest as he reached forward.

    “Splendid. Welcome to Gringotts Attorney Wing Mister Potter.”

     

    Or: After his first year at Hogwarts, Harry wants to exchange Wizarding money to muggle currency to write his new friends letters. A few misunderstandings with some of Gringotts Goblins lands him a lawyer instead.
