Read through chapter 24. One of the best fics I’ve ever read.
Fae rule the humans. Gwen rescues her brother, who was caught with rebels. She does so by disguising herself as a whore, which required her to give Cyr a bj. Cyr finds out it is her and stalks her for a while. Gwen’s uncle is a blacksmith and they work for a fae lord. The fae lord purchased Gwen for when she came of age. Gwen’s childhood friend, a rebel, tried to convince Gwen to make weapons for the rebellion. Gwen refuses. The fae capture her friend, and Cyr goes after Gwen. He offers her freedom in exchange for her virginity. She accepts. The next day she goes to the Fae lord to give him the unpickable lock she made, knowing he will rape her. When he tries, she attacks him and runs. Cyr lets her run for a few days, then captures her. Cyr takes her prisoner and refuses to give her back to the fae lord. In retaliation, the fae prince demands Cyr bring her to a banquet. Gwen tries to kill the prince. The other fae lord with a human pet is sympathetic to her, and scolds Cyr. The prince orders Cyr to kill her, but he refuses. He whips her instead, which hurts both of them bc they are bonded. He makes her sleep for 3 weeks to heal. Tristan demands cyr bring her to another feast, and to see her scars. At the dinner, his ex shows up. Gwen is jealous. Cyr sleeps with his ex but leaves abruptly when he realizes Gwen is injured. The prince attacked Gwen, but cyr gets there in time and the prince realizes Gwen and cyr are bonded. Cyr makes Gwen sleep. The prince asks cyr to share Gwen, but Gwen had begged cyr to keep the prince away, so cyr says only if the prince is gentle and Gwen does something unforgivable. Cyr goes to kill the fae lord (blacksmith), but on his way finds out another fae helped Gwyn’s rebel friend escape and ran off with her. Cyr chases after them and leaves Gwen’s care in the hands of the other fae lord with a human lover. Gwen’s brother shows up at Gwen’s cage, looking mysteriously strong. He and Gwynn escape the castle on a motorcycle. Cyr finds the traitor who impregnated a human, which is a crime. He sends him on a quest bc he doesn’t want to kill him. Cyr discovers fieren and Gwen are missing, and realizes Gwen’s brother rescued her. Gwen gets a gun and vows to kill cyr. Gwen kills a dragon and is captured by mysterious modern people
