“Hm.” Mysta was stroking his chin before examining Shu all over at once. At one point he might have sniffed Shu’s hair for a split second too. Mysta bounced backwards with a bright grin dancing on his lips as he raised a finger excitedly. “My detective senses are telling me that we might have been best friends in another lifetime!”
“That’s not very helpful.” Shu replied flatly, ignoring the skip of his heart. Somehow, he has a feeling that they would be brothers instead of best friends in another lifetime.
But not this one.
Or, constantly overworked sorcerer Shu Yamino finds himself teaming up with the overly zealous freelance detective Mysta Rias to deal with the supernatural, not knowing that the true monsters come from within.

“You are not a female assassin.” Shu stated plainly while Mysta continued to gawk openly.“No.” Ivy, or rather, Ike replied tersely, kicking off his high heels. “You’ll be surprised how easy it is to fool people by posing as a female.”
“Oh my god.” Mysta whispered, staring at Ike who rolled his eyes at him. “I thought you were female. I mean, I thought you were Ivy. I was going to thank her for the gold foiled chocolates filled with whiskey that gave me a mild concussion.”
Ike folded his arms, raising an eyebrow. “So that’s where my money went."
Or, Hoel brothers Mysta and Shu are known for being the underworld’s most efficient janitors, unfazed by bloody corpses and violent gang fights alike.It’s nothing special, but after a run-in with an infamous mafia boss, a ruthless demon stalking the streets, a lethal crossdressing assassin and many cigarettes smoked, they unveil a secret that could potentially destroy the city they know and love.
And being janitors, it’s their job to clean up whatever shit there is.
