Summary
Imagine an AU where the boys, Michael, Sam, Star, and the Frogs teamed up and took down Max. Right now, apart from "Betrayal" and any possible follow up to that, they don't have any true chronological order. As I add them here, I may contextualize them a little, on some kind of timeline. We'll see.
My thoughts on the series title, from a post I made on tumblr:
[The title] kind of sounds like romantic reasoning, on Michael's part. Maybe how he feels about David. Why ultimately forgive him?
Because the night. Everything about the night. The beauty and poetry of it. Passion. Lust. Mystery. Even death. And that's what David has to offer. An endless love, wrapped in night.
David has his flaws, and they are legion. But a little more talking and a little less tricking Michael, or even breaking it down, after Michael starts to turn, coming clean... that could have drastically changed their dynamic. In a world where they're not both caught up in the trappings of toxic masculinity, substituting violence for desire.

Michael had never thought to wonder why there would be a wheelchair in the sunken hotel. How it would have gotten down there in the first place, why the boys would have brought it during the scavenging and decorating trips they had been telling him about.

Summary
After their battle against the vampires of Santa Carla, Lucy and her two sons, along with Star, decided to leave Santa Carla and go back to Phoenix.
But what they didn't know was that out of the vampires they'd killed, only two of them remained dead.
Twenty-two years later, Michael decided to go back to Santa Carla with his two children and niece.
Brooke Emerson was very reluctant to leave his home and the friends he have in Phoenix. He didn't think that he would get used in living in Santa Carla at all and was just waiting for the day he turned eighteen so he could have the independence that he wanted. However, after meeting three mysterious young men in black leather jackets who introduced him to a world he'd never experienced before, he might find that Santa Carla wasn't that bad after all.

Summary
The Frog brothers don't trust Michael enough to let him in on the plan, so they drag Sam out to the lair in secret. The mission goes about as well as you'd expect from a group of teenage vampire-hunting amateurs; they miss the vital organ, they fail to rescue Star and Laddie, and they don't have a car so they have to race home on their bikes.
In their panic, the boys don't notice that none of the vampires are chasing them. In fact, they spend the entire night ready for a fight that never comes without realizing that none of the vampires ever tried to hurt them.
Huh.
