What if Charlotte got the guts to tell Alexander, right then and there in the carraige, how she felt? What if instead of waiting for one miscommunication, she came right out with it? This fanfic starts from the carraige ride home from Falmouth and spans until the last episode of season 3. Like many of you, I didn't love the hasty ending, we get some courting in this version!

Summary

Yet there is more to this than managing supplies to the war effort - can Colbourne and his team use their signals intelligence skills to thwart the enemy? And what if that enemy is closer to home than anyone thinks? Can love find a way amidst the fears and strains of wartime England?
A 1940's WW2 Variation, which takes our characters on a different, but also familiar, journey of self-discovery and romance.
