Summary
It has been a little over three years since she took Mundus' power from her sister and moved on with her life. Since then her and Vergil have grown closer and they've both been honest with what they want. Whatever power she took in has left its mark but not openly. It festers and grows and Mundus isn't one to let things be when he's so close to ruining the bloodline he's hated for so long. Freya's trying hard to not fret over the problem she can feel brewing, not wanting to let Vergil worry any more about her. Nor let him get caught up with the very demon that had tortured him and broken him into Nelo Angelo.
He knows though, Mundus' power isn't hard to recognize, especially compared to Freya's magic that Vergil knows so well. He isn't a teenager this time. He can sit back and plan instead of rushing head first. He has nothing left to prove, just so much to protect instead and he isn't alone. Neither is she.
