Then a pinch at his neck, like a bee sting, but deeper. Darkness. Then here.
Huh. Kidnapped. That’s new. If he was less emotionally dead from finals and sleep deprivation, he’d probably have a stronger and much more appropriate reaction to that.
At least he's got Captain America and the Winter Soldier to keep him company.

Summary
Bucky Barnes was supposed to fall in love with a girl he met out dancing, a girl he’d eventually marry, and they’d raise their children together in a nice house in the suburbs with white picket fencing.
Instead he falls for Steve Rogers. Steve and his sharp tongue, his unwavering loyalty, and his dry humor—Steve, who’ll never see Bucky as anything but his best friend.

Steve Rogers believed he would never meet someone who would like him for who he truly was. He’s small, weak, alone, picking fights he knows deep down he can’t win.
Then, all of a sudden there’s Bucky. Bucky and his charm, his easy-going personality, and his hearty laughter—Bucky, who’s too good, too perfect to be associated with the likes of Steve.
It all comes crashing down from there.
