Remus chews the inside of his cheek as he considers. He glances sideways at Sirius again. Reclined in the passenger seat with his feet kicked up on the dashboard, tapping the beat to the music, Sirius looks completely at home.

UK, 1977. Remus had a plan. He was going to take an idyllic road trip across America with his best friend. He was going to smoke a lot of weed and listen to a lot of Queen. He was going to write something that mattered. He wasn't going to be what his dad wanted him to be.
Getting bitten by a zombie dog wasn't part of his plan.
Now Remus is parentless, homeless, and searching for his friend on the off-chance he’s still out there. But as it happens, the universe has a plan for him, and it involves hitching a ride with a trio of posh boys who like to plunder fallen towns...and maybe saving humanity in the process.
