The comfort of living alone is that no one gets to see him in this state. No one gets to ask him questions he doesn’t want to answer, doesn’t know how to.
He doesn’t know many things lately. Like why those feelings are back again.
He had been doing so good, better than he had thought he ever would. And now he’s back at the start again. It’s like he hasn’t made any improvement at all and he hates himself for it.
So he drinks himself into oblivion because it’s easier. That way he doesn’t have to deal with his feelings and the thoughts in his mind and the voices in his head and everything that’s going on in his fucking hell of a life.
