Eve narrows her eyes, a pinch to her mouth. She’s beautiful, but it makes her ugly. He had thought them above petty human emotions like jealousy.
“Fine, I’ll let it go,” she says, “if you promise to stop working with her.”

Linda Martin returns after a long day at office and finds Lucifer seated at the steps of her home, a package in his hand and a painfully and frighteningly blank expression on his handsome face.
Chloe had returned and she was half certain that things were okay ish between the two.
But Something horrible has happened and Linda has no idea how to fix a man who has been broken so many times over eons that he has forgotten how to live without suffering.
Maybe all he needs is a friend.
