Summary
In a world where death and destruction wreak havoc in the cities, it is a cruel twist of fate that memories are passed on with every death witnessed. For some who wind up in the crossfires, they become marks who know too much by mere circumstance. When Rey comes across a man alone and dying in the streets, she can't help but to try to save him -- inheriting his fuzzy memories in the process. Memories of a boy with sad eyes and a scar who is somehow at the center of it all. When she becomes the next mark, despite the odds, someone steps in to save her -- a stranger with strong arms, sad eyes, and a scar.

Summary
From the beginning of his training, Kylo Ren knew that pain was the source of all power. Stoke had always told him, the reason he sought Ren out was the potential he saw in his pain.
Along the way, however, he has grown weaker—his treacherous wounds have allowed time to heal his once-throbbing scars. Even with his complete disregard for the concepts of coolness and composure, he has found the tides of his emotions growing more still with age. The downside of this great climb is that, at times, life is no longer enough of a battle to stir such passion as he once held.
That is precisely why she makes things different.

Summary
After Harry’s dad leaves, he begins to sleep his days away, running away in his dreams for ten years into the arms of the boy he finds there—losing himself in the kindness of his blue eyes, the warmth of his gentle hands, the love in his kisses. Louis is seven when his mother walks out with the girls, leaving him behind to fend for himself like the big boy he is—when his father comes home dizzy, smelling like the drink that always made his mother mad, and throwing Louis around the room for being a “faggot," Louis finds a boy who protects him, stays up all night just to keep him safe, and gives Louis a home no matter where he runs away to. (Ultimately, when they are sent to a mental rehabilitation center for depression and mild schizophrenia, they find they can heal each other even better in reality.)

Summary
Zayn doesn't want anything more than to grow up and be Buzz Lightyear--important, respected, flying high above the Earth and saving the entire universe from evil. That is, until his first Friday of kindergarten, when he sees Liam, who blushes when he says something someone might disagree with, does happy dances when he eats his Mummy's homemade biscuits, and wants to be nothing more than to be as good a friend as Woody.
On second thought, maybe there is one thing that Zayn wants more...
