Summary
In the late 19th century, the Arkham Opera House, a building whose eclectic interior matches its colourful performances, begins to suffer series of unfortunate accidents, ascribed to the enigmatic Opera Ghost. Cloaked, with a pallid mask, the spectre haunts the theatre, and one pianist in particular.
Arthur Lester has neither the time nor energy to believe in ghost stories. Blind but talented, he fears his upcoming wedding as much as he resents being pushed from the stage in favour of wealth and functional bodies. When a mysterious nightly patron takes an interest in him, he is all too glad for the attention - even if his new friend's voice haunts his dreams. As tragedies (and bodies) pile up, and Arthur's dreams spill into reality, he must decide whether the lure of the music of the night is worth the ultimate sacrifice.
This is not a love story.

Summary
