Summary
Shufen is pack alpha to one of the most prestigious bridging packs in the country. Bridging packs are crucial to contemporary society as young alphas, betas and omegas are sent off to learn the correct behavior and social skills before starting or joining a pack of their own. Shufen has overseen the training of many pups over the decades, sometimes taking on those from powerful families or those assigned by the state who need a place to recover from trauma. Shufen had seen it all. Now a new omega has been assigned to his pack. He soon realizes that the pup needs his pack more than anyone first thought. So much so that he’s not sure how to approach giving the omega back to his family…

Summary
When you first hear the voice of your soulmate, you just know that they’re the one for you. Sounds perfect. Simple.
As an EMT, Dean Winchester has seen both the ups and downs of what soulmates can do to each other. He rejects the very idea that one person is your person and once you hear their voice you belong to them. To him it feels like a forced relationship that there is only one way out of.
Castiel Novak, profoundly deaf since childhood, doubts he will ever find his soulmate. Even if he did, how would he ever know? Rather than let that diminish his happiness, he creates the website Solemates for others like himself, who have either lost their soulmate or aren't looking for one for whatever reason. It's a place to find support and understanding.
After a friend directs him to Solemates, despite some trepidation, Dean begins to read and comment on posts. That's how he meets blue_eyed_angel. They hit it off, so they chat and get to know each other for a while. After they exchange numbers, Dean realizes he’s falling for the guy. It's inevitable that they start to think about meeting in real life...
