Summary
The world outside… Daiki knew it to be dangerous. It was what his dad warned him against. It was what his dad’s friends talked about. Even the briefest memory of his mother, she had said so, too—that the world outside was like a spider’s web.
If someone was a small, dumb prey, they wouldn’t even realize they’re caught in danger until it was too late.
Wrapped in pretty silk
too hot… injected with venomburning… turned into liquidhurts… and then dying and getting devouredwhy can’t it end?.—
Or the AU that when Ikeda Daiki dies, he wakes up in his room back at Kanagawa Futurist Technologies Institute.

With the U-20 match finally over, Rin returns home to an empty house.
Well, empty if you didn't count his shitty older brother of course.
Or; Rin is stuck with Sae for the whole two week break after the U-20 match, will they finally communicate and reconcile, or will things just get worse between them?
(This is just full of random headcannons, mostly.)

Summary
Rin is stuck in a constant cycle of pain. Stuck between perfection and destruction. Even if he’d lost all hope for himself, the people around him, especially the ones he expects least are determined to help him, whether he wants them to or not.
Or; they’re all fucked. But they get a little less fucked as time goes on.

Summary
Rin is missing, whether dead or alive, buried or burned, he is missing. When the call comes, Sae Itoshi is too deep in the world of football to care about anything else and certainly not the fate of a brother he cut ties with long ago. But the voice on the other end isn't offering condolences or updates on a game score. It's the police, telling him that Rin Itoshi has been missing for 48 hours.
Dragging the prodigy from Madrid's stadium to Tokyo police station. Brought here by the same person he had abandoned and as the search for Rin intensifies, a dire realization takes place that something far more sinister is at play. No amount of fame, glory, or stadium lights can save someone who is willing to drown. And Sae is forced to confront the one thing he's spent his entire life denying: the price of disowning blood... can only be paid in blood.
OR: Maybe, just maybe, he's been looking in the wrong direction all along, chasing something that would never give him peace. Maybe it was never Rin who was gone. Maybe it was him all this time.
"I thought I could walk away without looking back. Now I'm not sure which of us is lost."
