She gets stronger with every blow, has questionable survival instincts, keeps accidentally volunteering as tribute for other people’s disasters, and is trying very hard not to become a government-owned weapon, a crime-ring attraction, or Erik Lehnsherr’s newest ideological headache.
Charles wants to help her.
Erik wants to prepare her.
Asa mostly wants everyone to stop being dramatic around her, because she is clearly already handling that department.

In all honesty if you knew that moving to New York to pursue your dreams would entail your furniture being utterly obliterated by a giant arrogant purple-clad turtle, you would've probably chased your back up dream and saved yourself the hassle. You just wanted him to fix your TV, not put a fucking hole in your wall! What does he not understand by: "No upgrades."
It's simple. But what does he do instead of have a civil conversation? He continues to mock you. And when you mock him in return? His pettiness meter seems to hit the max.
Fine. He wants to criticize and insult you? Two can play it that way.
