Summary
Sanji is a runaway prince of the violent Germa state, who is now being married off to Dressrosa to establish the Germa as a legitimate country. Law is the mad prince of Dressrosa, adopted into the royal family for his formidable powers as a mage and heir to the throne, kept on a tight leash for those same reasons. They're both mad about it.

Summary
Sanji rolls his head back, stares up at the ceiling. His pain threshold must be phenomenally high, Law thinks; any other patient presenting with a bullet to the gut would be writhing and sobbing, assuming they were even conscious to begin with. Sanji is plainly very uncomfortable - the erratic clench-unclench of his fists and sheen of greyish sweat are testament to that - but he's got enough wherewithal to crack pithy little jokes, glare with something approaching ferocity. It's a good sign. It means he'll be strong enough to endure what comes next.
The other reason, Law says, peeling back a skein of bloodied shirt, is because if I were to leave a seastone bullet embedded in your abdomen, I wouldn't be able to touch you anymore.
