Thrown into the retro world of Block Tales, a game I once finished for fun, I find myself stuck in a system that doesn’t believe in second chances. No mercy options. No forgiveness mechanics. Just fight.
But I won’t play by those rules.
Taking the name “Jester,” I set out to bend this world’s story, one heart at a time. I’m weak, untrained, and maybe a little too loud, but I know the game’s patterns, and I know these characters don’t deserve to suffer.
I'm rewriting the rules.
No killing. No cruelty. Just cards, jokes, and a lot of running away.
I don’t know how I got here. I don’t know how to get out.
But if I can help even one character find peace in a game that won’t let you spare… maybe I’m not just stuck.
Maybe I’m meant to change things.
I’m going pacifist.
Until I make it home.
Even if it breaks the timeline.
After all, every system has a wildcard.
