Summary
As Severus is about to start his last year at Hogwarts, a familiar stranger encountered on the train platform spurs him to try, for one last time, to mend his lost friendship with Lily.
“Otherwise Harry will die”, they said.
Well. He has no fucking idea who 'Harry' is, and Black is a particular pain in his ass even post-graduation, but Severus just cannot run from a challenge, can he?
After all, winning a war couldn’t be that complicated.

Summary
James was busy sucking Lily's face off, which left Sirius bored. Again. Sirius knew he'd found his evening entertainment when he saw Snivellous mysteriously disappear from the Marauder's Map. Snivellous was certain to be up to no good. It was practically a public service to investigate the matter. His plan did not involve snogging Snape in a broom cupboard and it certainly wasn't supposed to lead to anything more, but sometimes things don't go as planned. It ought to be a story of pure simple hate between two young men destined to be on opposite sides of a war. It wasn't supposed to be a love story.
