    "Oh god!" Haibara cries aloud, when Suguru enters the staff room. "What is that stench around you, Suguru-san?!"

    He's holding his nose now, his entire face scrunched up. "Did - Did that Gojo kid spray you with his pheromones? Oh god, oh god, someone get a fan here, please! It reeks of rut!"

    Suguru stands there, staring blankly at Haibara.

    He hadn't smelt anything - in fact, as he tries to discreetly smell his shirt, he still can't smell anything out of place.

    But then again, what did he know - he was a beta, after all.

    Or,

    Beta high school teacher Suguru has Gojo Satoru, a notorious alpha student in his class this year.

    “You’re an omega. A special grade at that. The higher ups are aware of this,” Yaga said. “They see you as…valuable. Sometimes jujutsu clans— especially the older, more traditional ones— can be a bit… particular when it comes to omegas. They like to stake a claim for…many reasons.”

    He didn’t need Yaga to specify what he meant. The implications were clear to him— clans would view him as a tool— as a womb— not just for his technique… but to further their lineage.

    All he knew was he didn’t want to be anyone’s tool.

    Being a Jujutsu Sorcerer is dangerous. But being an omega sorcerer comes with vulnerabilities Suguru Geto would rather not acknowledge.

    Then he meets Satoru Gojo. And what starts off as an unlikely friendship eventually grows into something deeper. Something Suguru isn’t always ready to admit or accept, much to Satoru’s chagrin.

    Or, an omegaverse rewrite following Satoru and Suguru from their first meeting in high school onwards. And for some reason, it makes all the difference.

    “How long have you been waiting for me?” Suguru asked with a low laugh.
    “My whole life, I think,” Satoru answered.

    In a world that’s swarmed by the undead, they found each other over the radio. And somehow— despite the apocalypse— they also found home.

    The soft whisper of the waves murmured against the rocks, bumping gently against them, crashing with white foam. The endless dark blue, almost black canvas of water caught in its depths the light of the moon's yellow disk. The sea was not calm this day - a storm had recently passed.
    In the midst of this slowly fading wrath of nature, on the surface of a large, black, smooth rock, could be seen a colorful figure. Reddish brown eyes, long, silky scarlet hair falling in strands to the surface of the stone like streams of blood, white skin that seemed to glow under streams of moonlight.
    However, the figure was obviously not human. The creature lazily slapped the stone with its huge tail fin from time to time. A translucent, fiery red fin, as if woven from silk, with a black line along its edge. Up to his waist, ruby scales covered the graceful tail, giving way to skin only on his stomach.
    The man on the rock was a merman.
