“I hate going to sleep without you,” Derek mumbles, face against Stiles’ throat. “I need to know that you’re safe. With me.”
“I’m sorry,” Stiles says again, truly meaning it. He kisses Derek’s shoulder, nuzzling his skin. Derek’s only in sweatpants, his torso bare and warm against Stiles. “Let me make it up to you.”
Stiles knows what Derek needs, and Derek surrenders.
He lays still as he blinks at Stiles with heavy eyelids, entrusting Stiles completely. All he wants is to have Stiles close, and Stiles goes easily. He leans in and kisses the side of Derek’s neck gently, close to his mating bite, and the press of his lips is so soft that Derek can’t help but shiver.
