After the events at Belltech Tower, William realizes exactly what he had done. So, he runs. Unfortunately for him, he's found by none other than Mallard Conway. The demon takes him under his wing, only for the boy to flee back to Prime a few years later. He makes a good life for himself away from the Prime Defenders, but when confronted with his past, he claims that he has amnesia. Can he keep up this facade for longer than a couple weeks?

Hasn’t he been here before? He turns around, immediately. Though he doesn’t exactly know why– perhaps to see that the room he’s come from is still there? It’s no use– he can only see roughly two rooms back, with how they curve and seem to have no rhyme nor reason. Even if he was in some strange looping circle, as ridiculous as that sounds, he’d have no way of proving it.
Maybe this room is just laid out similarly to a previous one. A funny coincidence.
Two statues that adorn the pedestals by the door stare at him as he steps through the door. He tries not to feel welcome when he looks back– that same deja vu creeping up his throat like bile. As if these two know him, have seen him before. They look kind, somehow, despite their sorry state. Despite how they are lifeless and mere mockeries of the human form.

When Clover was still a student in Atlas Academy, he had nursed a crow with a broken wing back to health. Fifteen years later, an airship carrying eight exhausted teenagers and a spiritually-broken Huntsman crash-land near Mantle. The children will be fine on their own. They are young; their bones are strong. The Huntsman needs a little more help, though, but there are no emotional splints that Clover can use to ease his pain.
He’ll figure it out somehow. It’s a good thing Clover already knows a thing or two about crows.
-aka Clover helps Qrow recover from addiction and more, whether he realizes it or not. Fair Game fic specifically centered on Qrow’s recovery in V7.
