Summary
She is quiet, observant, lonely. She doesn’t raise her voice, doesn’t put up a fight. She just sits on the roof of her house, reading her paperbacks, listening to music, and watching the people of Sioux Falls roam around. A small midwest town weird girl who watches life from the sidelines, she is immediately entranced by the guy with the guns in his locker.
He is angsty, older, angry.He paces around Singer Salvage Yard, kicking rocks and grumbling about his father dropping him and Sam off at Bobby’s when he could be out there helping. Daddy’s good little soldier, always ready to take a beating without shedding a tear, finds himself caught off guard by the girl with the soft voice and even softer touch.
An unexpected pair, they soon find out that their souls are made of the same thing. He pulls away, she lets him. He comes back, she opens the door for him. Summary
Dad would push Sam to Dean’s arms every time and Dean would change his diaper without a word of complaint. It felt familiar back then. It reminded him of Mum.
At that age, Dean wanted to do everything Mum did for Sammy. It hurt him whenever he couldn’t do something. He had forgotten about it. The helplessness he felt when he couldn’t provide for Sam.
Looking back now, it was such a stupid feeling. Obviously, Dean couldn’t make milk for Sam. He wasn’t a girl. He was also too young to be able to do it anyway. God, Dean couldn’t be more thankful that nobody else knew about it. Sam didn’t remember and Dad never knew. Dean never let Dad see. He could feel Dad’s eyes following Dean around. He knew Dad saw someone else there. It made Dean just the tiniest bit happy to be able to make Dad smile but he couldn’t let Dad see how he failed at the one thing Mum could always do; make milk.
OR
Dean never gets over wanting to breastfeed Sam and being unable to do it. It escalates when Sam finds out.

Summary
Dean’s used to living in solidarity. Well. Not really. He goes out on hunts, but he’s rooted down in Kansas. All because of a deal he made. One that involves him being with Alastair. And letting the demon do what he wants to Dean.
But then Dean bumps into Castiel. As they continue to meet each other, what with Dean frequenting Castiel’s brothers' shops, they form a slow and tenuous friendship.
Castiel is worried about the man he somehow formed a scent bond with - which should not be possible whatsoever, due to his status as an angel and the fact that his vessel already had a true mate. He tries to get to the bottom of why Dean is letting himself clearly be abused.
But neither of them are without their own secrets. So how will the omega react when he finds out the first person he let himself get close to after so long is not who - or rather, what he says he is?
