“I think,” Blaine starts carefully, thus far undecided on how he would word it, and that’s why it comes out wrong at first, “–for our own sanity’s sake, we should date.”
He takes a breath.
“Pretend!” he exclaims once he’s run through his own words again. “We should pretend to date.”
[In an effort to get their parents off their backs about their dating life, best friends Blaine and Sebastian decide to pretend to be a couple. The arrangement works perfectly: they’re free to date whoever they want without their parents complaining, they have the full support of their frat brothers, and when Sebastian needs a designated driver he can count on Blaine to be there for him. But then, tragedy strikes when they lose someone dear to them both, bringing them face to face with fears and insecurities neither of them have owned up to until then. Will the friendship survive?]
