If you're expecting the cannon "vampire", please don't.
Life as a vampire, compared to a human, could be stated to be… wild.
Animalistic.
Complex.
Slow.Vampires could be reduced to basic impulses due to multiple various stimuli, a lack of sustenance, a threat to coven mates, progeny, mate,… or child.
Turned children are illegal, only permitted in accepted circumstances.
Jane and Alec were a result of these accepted circumstances. They weren’t born to the royal coven, but brought into the fold, adopted by the ruling family with great consideration… and emotion. Athenodora had never wanted children but having run into the twins while on a trip with Didyme, latched onto the children fiercely, and with great haste pushed her coven to assess the children for being turned. At only 6 years the children were at great risk with superstition and the black death rampant. Caius was resistant to her pleas on the matter, but after arriving with Marcus in tow to look at the human children from afar, the case was closed quickly and the twins relocated to the castle with venom in their veins post-haste due to the severe wounds accrued from an attack on their lives.

Summary
This is a one shot draft of Alice's change I've made for a work-in-progress Twilight fic. I'm not happy with this draft as the given year for Alice's change doesn't match up with historical use of the treatment(Alice's change is noted to be in 1920 but electroshock therapy isn't used until the 1930s in Europe) but it fits with the original given back story for Alice's history.(With electroshock therapy being cited as the main cause for her memory loss.) Rather than scrap it entirely I've decided to post it. For context on the constant restraints they have Alice in, it's because I've changed it to where her visions are accompanied by seizure like symptoms. Enjoy!

Peter seems to remember who he is, his name, his losses, his responsibility as the 'friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man', but everything that led to this moment? That led to being stranded in this foreign place? Half-remembered and hastily stitched together.
Gotham is colder than New York, the faces are unfamiliar, the skyline jagged and grim, and the heroes... strange and foreign.
He is haunted by visions of a dour, inescapable green; his memories muddled and vague. He knows he needs to get his narrative in order, needs to remember it properly, but now Peter has garnered the unwanted attention of Gotham's idolised protectors. And try as he might, he cannot seem to shake them off.

Danny needs a place to lay low. He thought he'd find peace in the Infinite Realms but everyone is trying to pick a fight with him! Leave this Halfa alone!
Clockwork has an idea that leads to Danny striking a deal with Lady Gotham. In exchange for sanctuary, Danny will filter her corrupted ectoplasm. She tells him that if he's in any danger, then Danny may go to her Knights. But Danny's not the type of person to go asking others for help. Especially if he thinks he can handle it by himself.What Danny doesn't know is that the Knights of Gotham are very interested in meeting this new Meta that keeps popping up. He doesn't know that Lady Gotham is very invested in him meeting her Knights. Danny doesn't know that he's caught the eye of a certain undead Knight.
Danny is not ready for this new stage of his life, but he's going to commit to being a True Gothamite!

Strange things are going on in Gotham: A series of crimes linked only by a sentence uttered. A drug that no one seems to be selling, but lots of people are taking. An old enemy reborn, or someone pretending to be him. Graffiti that can't be photographed by normal means. Bartenders disappearing without a trace. John Constantine is also there.
Danny wants nothing to do with any of it. He just wants to sell burgers and survive. Actually, he'd like to go home again, but since that isn't possible, he'll stick with burgers.
Gotham's vigilante's have other plans.
This is why Danny doesn't do favors.

“We can try to move forward." Tim swallowed. "Or… we can move on.” He hated saying it, hated how rancid and barbed the idea of officially parting ways was on his tongue.
Hated how quickly Danny’s eyes were on him again, mouth open and ceiling forgotten.
“What?” Danny sat upright, both feet back on the ground. “You want to move on?”
“Wait,” Tim said quickly, hand out. “I just didn’t know if you—what you—“
“Tim.” Danny looked crushed. “You’re my person.”

Tim loved Danny. So, so much. But after an averted apocalypse put a strain on their relationship, he needed space to work on himself. After months of separation and countless therapy sessions, Tim finally built up enough courage to accept Danny's invitation, visiting him in Boston to see if they could try again.
This is a soft fic about reconnection and moving forward after a split. It's kinda sad, but does get happy, and will have a happy ending! I promise!
