Summary
“Holy shit, you’re Kaiser.”
“Oh great, a fucking fan,” Kaiser said with a roll of his eyes.
“I’ve gotta say, I–”
Kaiser held up a hand. “Let me guess. You’re my biggest fan, my music is the best thing ever, blah, blah, blah. Let’s save us both the trouble, and just assume that I’ve already heard everything you want to say, and that I don’t care.”
Alexis blinked as every word died in his throat. This was his idol? It could not be the same person who had written “Blue Rose”.
“Well?” Kaiser raised one perfectly sculpted eyebrow. “Are you going to just stand there, or are you going to do the job I planned on paying you very well for?”
Alexis Ness is sent to do a cleaning job. Turns out that client is international rockstar Michael Kaiser, the lead singer of Bastards of München, and Alexis' favorite musician of all time.

Summary
He had always believed he was the one doing the keeping, that the leash, the bowl, the shelter of his home were proof of ownership, but death exposed the quiet lie. When the dog’s breathing thinned into absence, it was not a possession that slipped from his hands, but a witness to his life that vanished, taking with it the version of him that had been seen without judgment. The house did not feel empty because something was gone; it felt altered, as if reality itself had been rewritten in smaller, colder terms. In the dog’s absence, time grew sharper, more deliberate, no longer softened by the rhythm of paws and unspoken companionship. And so he understood, too late, that he had not owned a life, he had been entrusted with a fragment of meaning, one that loved him without language, and in losing it, he was forced to confront the unbearable truth: that love is not measured by its duration, but by the silence it leaves behind.

Summary
Finding one's perfect someone due to a wrong number is something right out of a bad novel, and Stanley would hardly believe it was possible if it hadn't happened to him. Now Xeno was all his, his to love and spoil and tease and drive absolutely mad. Stanley loved to replay in his mind how he became so lucky to snag the scientist. So many elements that fell perfectly in place like puzzle pieces.
Relationships are more than just warm fuzzies and kisses however. They take work. If living a hundred miles away from each other wasn't hard enough, here comes Stanley's past creeping up like a storm on the horizon.
(This is the sequel to Wrong Number, Right Person. Please read that first.)
