From a prompt on the kmeme: I'm in the mood for something sad and angsty, and I know anon will never disappoint.
So, the Warden and his chosen love have been together for years and, though it's been rough, they've stuck through it and are happily in love.
Except now the Warden has started to feel signs that the Calling is coming, and because the Wardens are so secretive, their LI has no idea that it's happening.
How does it happen? Does the Warden reveal the truth or just leave in the middle of the night? How does their lover react, resentful that they were kept in the dark or vow to make the most of the time they have left?
OP's personal favorite pairing is Zevran/M!Mahariel, but is not picky! Whatever anon is feeling for this is cool with me! Just make it nice and sad/bittersweet and I'll be happy!

Summary
Sans is a busy skeleton nowadays. He's a college professor, and even if he's surprisingly quite good at it, it's a lot of responsibility -- especially when he's not just being judged on the basis of his teaching, but as a makeshift representative of monsterkind. On top of that, he's got grading to do, lectures to plan, physics jokes to test out on his brother, and somehow he even manages to squeeze in the occasional nap. His schedule is full up.
The last thing he needs is for one of his students to start hitting on him.
