Buck was halfway through breakfast at the station when Chimney noticed the markings.
“Uh, Buck?” Chim said, pointing with his toast. “Why does your arm look like a toddler used it for handwriting practice?”
Buck glanced down. A faint smiley face and a few pink squiggles had appeared along his forearm. “Oh, that’s just my skin being dramatic again.”
