It was a game.
Regulus would stare when no one was looking. He’d play with little fantasies when James was only feet away, knowing he’d never know what Regulus was imagining. It was just a little thrill. James was too old for Regulus and his brother's best friend anyway.
It was a game, a one-sided game.
