Summary
Chimney: Hey, Buck, you knew Eddie’s grandmother, right? Do you have any suggestions about what kind of flowers we should send to their family?
Hen: Yeah, I was thinking maybe some carnations? What do you think? Are there specific kinds we should be getting? For tradition?”
Chimney: Or maybe we can order from one of those websites? You know, the ones that send those pre-made flowers and cards.
Ravi: Wait… did someone die?
Hen: Eddie’s grandmother. It was sudden, but it was peaceful. Happened in her sleep last night.
Chimney: He told me and Hen this morning. He won’t be coming in for his shift today.
Chimney: Buck??? You there?
Buck reads through the texts. And then reads through them again, as if, by some supernatural occurrence, they’ll change. Bobby hasn’t even been gone a year, and now Isabel is gone too? He almost doesn’t believe it’s true. Eddie would have told him if it were true. Wouldn’t he?
Or: Buck is the last of the group to learn about Isabel's passing and it brings up feelings.

Summary
“How did you get home from the hospital?”
“Took an uber.”
“Does Maddie know?” Silence. “Does anyone?” More silence. More of Buck refusing to meet his gaze, staring at the door like he thought he could entice Eddie to leave by the power of suggestion. Well, good fucking luck, Eddie thought. Wild horses, and all that. “Why didn’t you call anyone?” he demanded. “Why didn’t you call me?”
“I did!” Buck snarled. The momentum of his indignation carried him into a sitting position, and Eddie could see him flinch with the pain of it. His unnaturally stoic front was gone, and something raw and wrenching took its place; it occurred to Eddie that he’d never heard Buck raise his voice before. “I did call you, Eddie! As I was bleeding out on my kitchen floor. You. Didn’t. Answer.”

The squatter in Buck's attic has a knife. Buck has a bit of a breakdown. Eddie has a plan to make everything right.

Summary
The constant beeping of the heart machine is a comfort because that means that Buck is alive. When Eddie got to L.A. he wasn’t sure if that would be the case. That terrified him to his core. The thought of being in a world where one Evan Buckley wasn’t there. Eddie was in Texas when he got the call. The moment he heard Bobby’s voice say “You need to get to L.A. Eddie.” It felt like his world was upside down.
Or
Buck is injured and Eddie has to deal with the fallout and potentially losing him after he has finally figured out that he loves him.
This is the first part following immediately after the injury and in the hospital.
