the premise of reincarnation/finding your soulmate in each lifetime already appeals to me so much right off the bat, but couple that with incredible, tension-filled writing and things that aren't necessarily happy but have fleshed out reasons for being as such—grrrrr. birds flying side by side has been and i believe will always be my favourite junhao work. ao3 user dell_x was far ahead of their time.

I finally got around to reading negative space recently (I'm lightyears behind and I have no excuse). I hopped on a plane ready to devour this beauty and stepped down 8 hours later a changed person - my kindle highlights can attest to this. the author has a magnificent way of depicting tension and urgency but also the fresh excitement that comes with heists. truly unmatched. have not read anything that makes me feel like this before and I doubt I'd ever find anything that makes me feel this way again. absolutely love the use of a countdown...The Importance of Time, y'know. I am left wanting more and will no doubt be thinking about soonwoo and dahaeng for many, many moons to come.
