Summary
Maeglin is left behind in Nan Elmoth in the year 400 of the First Age. Things still go downhill, because this is Tolkien and nothing is happy. But because this is also Tolkien, things get better.
Eventually.
This whole AU was inspired by “Forget and Forgive” by MayLovelies, and beyond that, we’re going wildly off course from canon (though really, what is canon?)

Summary

To live in a world where things didn't make sense, more than 30 years before the main character was born, with the misfortune of sharing the same last name as many important characters.
What was her reason to be here? Why had she been given a second chance? For sure, it was to do what she couldn't in her past world, to actually do something right and die a meaningfull death this time around.
