"Natsu!" Lucy cheered from behind him. She stumbled clumsily from the crowd as he whirled around to face her.
Natsu chewed the fire in his mouth, glaring suspiciously at her. He carefully pulled his flaming chicken leg away from her as she came to a stuttering stop in front of him, tugging at his sleeve excitedly. Her breath smelled like alcohol. He should have known he couldn't trust his partner with Cana.
Lucy held up a cheap plastic ring, a flirty smile painted on her face. "Marry me."
Natsu couldn't help but roll his eyes. Swallowing roughly, he said, "Lucy, you never remember."

He glances at her out of the corner of his eye to see her thinking about it.
"I've never thought about it. Gajeel and I haven't really talked about them, but I don't think I would mind having one."
