Summary
She watched the office vibrated in the familiar way for the past five years. After graduation, she worked at CatCo Worldwide Media as Cat Grant’s assistant. Hoping that someday she would be an investigative journalist like her cousin. After two years of fetching hot lattes and nowhere near what she wanted, she decided to sign up for Police Academy in hope to get her hands dirty on unveiling injustice in more direct way. To say she took things in a dramatic turn could be right or it could just be her daily routine life. After all, she was the sole survivor in the horrendous fire that took her parents away when she was 13 and lived momentarily in foster system and was adopted when a family friend, the Danvers, came swoop in and rescued her out of system and grew up as low-key as she could be through teenage and had a rough start with her adoptive sister but somehow got closer after said adoptive sister fought off her bullies (yes, plural) aaaaaand now she was doing a monolog in her head standing in NCPD 99 precinct. So, yeah, this was just her life now. And she is content about how things turned out.
Or was, until that damn woman came crushing into her little happy life.

What if Kara had leaned in, or maybe taken Lena and finally told her what she felt for her, and Lena told her back? And if Lex had done something so terrible that not even Lilian could forgive him, especially after she started therapy with the craziest psychologist in all the DC world? Well, this is the story of Kara and Lena, as I think could have gone after Kara returned from the Phantom Zone. Something that happened in the show didn't happen or is a little different and I don't like the way Alex and Eliza treat Kara for a long time, so I won't be so gentle with them in the beginning, so if you don't like it don't read this FF.
